VDA 6.3 is developed by the German Automotive industry. It is an audit standard and procedure to assess the quality cabability of a supplier or potential supplier.
In 2010 these standard was revised to meet the increase requirements in customer and supplier processes. An new approach is made by creating the Potential Analysis - an excerpt from Process Audit-, as basis for the assessment of new, not previously known suppliers.
